A Wild Guide to the 3city

What to see?

One of Poland’s most beautiful cities, Gdansk, on the Baltic Sea. It is a place with over a thousand years of history, the identity of which has been shaped over the centuries by various cultures.

Old Town - The representative and historic part of Gdańsk is considered to be one of the most beautiful complexes of this type in Poland. Here you can see exceptionally valuable monuments from different periods, referring to many architectural styles, created over the centuries by artists from around the world. Such a large and compact urban complex also has its own, magical atmosphere. Due to the fact that most of the most interesting monuments are concentrated around the Royal Route, you can get to know them during a nice walk.

Europejskie Centrum Solidarności - The institution was established to spread the ideals of the Solidarity movement - democracy, an open and solidary society, the culture of dialogue - retained their attractiveness and topicality. At the European Solidarity Center you can see exhibitions about the Polish road to freedom at the end of the 20th century.

Museum of amber - Gdańsk deserves the title of the World Capital of Amber. Jewellery and utensils of amber have been produced here for centuries. The Museum of Amber displays natural lumps of the resin and its inclusions, as well as finished products, e.g. jewellery, cutlery and chests. The visitor will learn how amber is formed, how it is extracted, what its properties are, and how it has been worked over the ages.

The smallest of the Trójmiasto (3city), the Baltic Sea spa town of Sopot is smack between Gdansk and Gdynia, just a few miles from each. Boasting beautiful beaches and ritzy resorts.

Sopot's Pier - the longest pier on the Baltic Sea. It is about half a kilometer long - the walking part is 511.5 m, of which 458 m deep into the Gulf of Gdańsk. It is one of the city's greatest attractions.

Monte Cassino Street - representative pedestrian street in Sopot. There are numerous restaurants, cafes and clubs. In the season, it is one of the most visited places in the Tri-City by tourists. In the 17th century, the present street was a road connecting the agricultural part of Sopot with a fishing settlement by the sea.

Sopot Forests - perfect for discovering nature close to the city. In autumn, they sparkle with a thousand colors of falling leaves.

Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni - The mission of the Emigration Museum in Gdynia is to tell the stories of millions of Polish emigrants, both anonymous and famous, whose names appear in the context of great scientific, sports, business and artistic achievements.

City Beach - Beautiful and lovely beach near to the city center. Lots of places to sit, relax and enjoy the views.

Kępa Redłowska & Klif Orłowski - Nature & Wildlife Areas. A great place for a walk. Near the sea and beach there is a vast forest park, inside which there are historical, military facilities. The high cliff located here is the most photographed fragment of Gdynia and a really charming place.
